In the middle of greenery and yet in the city – the Elbauenpark Magdeburg offers an oasis in the state capital of Saxony-Anhalt. Here you will find a place to relax after an eventful meeting or conference. The Elbauenpark combines a classic park with many other attractions.

On top of the 60-metre-high millennium tower you can enjoy a fantastic view over the Elbauenpark. Affectionately also called the smartest tower in the world, it is one of the most beautiful event locations in Magdeburg. The atmosphere amidst the spectacular exhibits on 6,000 years of human history is unique. Marvel and celebrate between pyramid and water wheel. In total, the park offers 93 hectares of relaxation and experience.

Until 1992 the area of the Elbauenpark was a military base for the former Red Army. After their withdrawal, they left behind a wasteland with remaining bullets and a waste disposal site. A competition for the redesign of the site was immediately launched. It is thanks to the 25th Federal Horticultural Show that the park with its Millennium Tower, lake stage and much more is now open to the public.

Ideas grow here. Newly designed, the Elbauenpark Magdeburg not only offers green spaces, but also many leisure activities for all those interested in science and culture. And all this in the immediate vicinity of the city centre.

The garden art on themes such as rose gardens, bamboo groves, herbaceous gardens, European gardens, paradisiacal gardens or renewable raw materials inspire visitors from all over the world. The park is located in the north of the city of Magdeburg on the eastern bank of the Elbe. It can be reached easily by car or by bus or train.

Meetings in the countryside

Plan your next meeting or conference in the countryside. The Elbauenpark offers not only recreation, but also the possibility to organize events and conferences. The premises offer several seminar and conference rooms for up to 2,300 people. For your special occasion, book the Millennium Tower, with a capacity for up to 800 people, the Seebühne or the Cracauer Anger. For company parties the garden house and the associated barbecue areas are perfect.
